Feeling sappy today.

Throwing shade under the canopy.
Rooting for change.
Cedars always seizes the day.
Branching out into unknown territories.
Keeping it poplar with the masses.
And that’s the long and the shortleaf of it.
The hickory of our times.
Just going with the fir-flow.
The tree-mendous power of nature.
In the still of the pine forest.
Bark softly, but carry a big twig.
Root deep, aim high.
Every tree was once just a nut that held its ground.
Stay evergreen, my friends.
Turn over a new leaf every day.
